Greetings all.
Lansing Community Library will host Hilary Lambert, Steward/Executive Director of the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network on Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. Hilary is a long-time science based advocate for the environment, and will provide information you can use to get ready for harmful algal blooms on Cayuga Lake this coming summer and fall. These blooms can be toxic, and families and pets need to stay away from the green discolored water. She will give us background and updates on how to help spot and report these blooms.
All are welcome to this free talk, but be certain to call the library (607-533-4939) or go www.lansinglibrary.org to reserve your seat.
